There was one name that stood one in this March Gold Coast Yearling Sales; One Syndications.

One Syndications is an emerging horse racing syndication with aspirations of becoming the leading syndicator in Australia. Founded on a passion for horse racing, One Syndications is dedicated to providing Aussies with the opportunity to own and be part of a team that fosters some of the most exciting talent in the racing industry.

One Syndications have teamed up with Gollan Racing and John Foote Bloodstock (FBAA) to purchase Lot 252, a Jonker (AUS) x Island Daze (AUS) filly from the Lyndhurst Stud Farm draft, for $75,000 at this March Magic Millions sale on the Gold Coast.

They also purchased Lot 365 Barbaric (AUS) x Plumage Colt with Nick Walsh Racing and Salvador Bloodstock from the Eureka Stud draft.

“His Dam is a proven producer of winners and this colt was a standout colt of any barbaric on the ground. He was exceptionally clean thought out and extremely well balanced his size was great and he vetted excellent. He is a flashy horse. We had to wait 2 days to buy him but look we bought the one we wanted and super happy to be taking him home, the horse will sell himself, he is an exceptional colt.” Says Walsh.

One Syndications was founded in 2023 by Brandon Diplock and Josh Lang, lifelong mates with a strong history in business and racehorse investing. Their goal is simple—to make racehorse ownership the most rewarding experience possible and to share it with people who have a common love for the sport.

Brandon Diplock, a committee member of the Rockhampton Jockey Club, comes from a family with over 50 years of success in business and horse racing, offering deep industry knowledge and connections.

Josh Lang, with a background in engineering and investment banking across Australia and London, combines strong business acumen with his passion for racing. As a certified Jockey’s Agent, he provides expert insights into horse placement and ownership strategy.

Rounding out the team is Tom Henjak, a professional punter and race analyst on the Queensland circuit, who has provided form analysis and betting advice for MacBet since 2021.

Together, they deliver a winning formula of experience, strategy, and passion, ensuring that One Syndications remains at the forefront of the racing industry.

Diplock and Lang, both proud Rockhampton boys, have been best friends since Year 8.

Their dream of owning and managing racehorses together had been in the works for years, finally becoming a reality when they purchased their first two horses in November 2023.

“I have owned a lot of horses individually, and Josh has jumped into a few along the way,” Diplock said. “His interest in horse racing has especially sparked over the past few years, following the success of his sister, Emily Lang, in the saddle.”

Emily Lang has quickly established herself as one of Queensland’s most promising apprentice jockeys, making waves with Gollan Racing.

A Family Legacy in Racing

Racing is in their blood. Diplock is a fourth-generation horse owner with deep ties to the Rockhampton racing community, while Lang’s family has long been involved in the equine industry.

“The family has always been around horses,” Lang said. “I was more into sporting and camp drafting, but when I hit 13, school took over, and I stepped away. Em' stuck with it—she went into eventing and show jumping, and now she’s an apprentice jockey.”

Having spent the last two years working in London, Lang recently returned to Sydney. However, racing remained his connection to home.

“Being overseas, racing kept me connected—it was a great way to stay involved and keep our friendship strong,” Lang said.

The team behind One Syndications brings a wealth of experience in business, racing, and strategic management.

As part of the One Syndications team, Tom delivers in-depth horse performance analysis, including: His post-race analysis includes sectional breakdowns and horse ratings, helping owners understand their horse’s likely progression and optimal race placement moving forward.

As people who have enjoyed their fair share of race days and the thrill of picking a winner, the team at One Syndications has worked tirelessly to create a platform that allows like-minded individuals to share in the excitement and rewards of racehorse ownership.

Why QTIS Horses?

For One Syndications, racing in Queensland is an easy decision, thanks to the Queensland Thoroughbred Incentive Scheme (QTIS).

“It’s a no-brainer for us,” Diplock said. “The added prize money makes racing in North Queensland so much more attractive for two and three-year-olds.”

The Stable’s Favourite Sire: Hellbent

When it comes to selecting bloodlines, One Syndications has a clear standout—Hellbent.

“Hellbent has to be our top sire, especially given the success we’ve had with our stable star, Hell!” Diplock said.

Hell, a four-year-old bay gelding trained by Nick Walsh in Rockhampton, is one of One Syndications' most promising talents. Sired by Hellbent out of Miss Wonderland, he was purchased through the January 2024 Inglis Online Sale. Most recently, he demonstrated his ability with a win in the Mascot Handicap (1050m) in Rockhampton on March 15, 2025.

His sire, Hellbent, is a Group 1-winning sprinter renowned for his blistering speed. Standing at 16hh, the dark bay stallion is a son of I Am Invincible and made his mark on the track with seven wins over distances of 1000m to 1200m, amassing nearly $1 million in prize money. His standout victory came in the 2018 Group 1 William Reid Stakes, where he showcased his electrifying turn of foot.

With multiple stakes-winning progeny, including two Group 1 winners, Hellbent is proving to be a top-class sire—and One Syndications is eager to capitalise on his success.

With a strong team, strategic partnerships, and a growing roster of talented horses, One Syndications is making its presence felt in Queensland racing. Their collaboration with top trainers like Nick Walsh and Gollan Racing highlights their commitment to success and ability to identify quality bloodstock.

As they continue to build momentum, One Syndications is a name to watch in the Queensland racing scene. Keep an eye on this rising force—big things are on the horizon.
